Event: Meg Perry Center Banner Exhibit and Film

Description:

The Meg Perry Center will exhibit a series of banners representing the heroes of the international non-violence movement for First Friday. The banners were created by members of Pax Christi Maine, the local chapter of the international Catholic ecumenical and interfaith pacifist movement and feature such people as Martin Luther King, Mahatma Gandhi, Archbishop Oscar Romero and Rachel Corrie. The open house starts at 5pm. At 7pm a movie entitled: "Haiti: The Endless Revolution" will be shown. Following a discussion, a collection will be taken to support the work of the Sacred Heart/St. Dominic's Haiti Project. Information will be available about the Haiti Project's work with children in Cap Haitien.
