Julia Barry at Port City Blue with Opening Guest, Nehemiah Luckett

Jazz songwriter Julia Barry will bring her original music to Port City Blue on May 5, 2012, as part of her spring tour partially sponsored by organic bread company, Young Bread Works.

Barry's music has received praise from music blogs, magazines, and industry personnel, acclaimed as “soulful, jazzy and deep” (Independent Music Scene), “poetic and haunting” (This Is Real Music), and “lush, rich….enigmatic” (Harmony Avenue).

Opening guest, Nehemiah Luckett is a composer and talent who recently wrapped up as Music Assistant for NY Broadway's Porgy & Bess.
