Board Committees as per Strategic Plan

 

  1. Clean & Safe

  2. Manage and enhance the appearance of downtown to guarantee success as an environment in which to live, work, play and invest. Actively support a 24/7 safe environment for residents, businesses, and visitors to access all areas of the district for all types of activities.

  1. Marketing & Promotions

  2. Stimulate the commercial, retail, residential and visitor sectors through improved information and downtown navigation services, special events and promotional initiatives.

  1. Advocacy

  2. Advocate for policies that accomplish our core mission-Balance advocacy with the needs of the district’s diverse constituencies through communication, education, and facilitation of cross-district collaboration.

 

Ongoing Committees

NLOC (Nightlife Oversight Committee)

Chair- Doug Fuss. All bar owners in PDD
Meets the 2nd Wednesday of each month from 3:30 PM to 5 PM at PDD
Staffed by Jan Beitzer and Danielle Layton

Retail Meeting

Chair -Jan Beitzer. All PDD merchants, museums, hotels, restaurants, galleries
Meets monthly from 8:30 AM to 9:45 AM on various days at rotating locations
Staffed by Will Ethridge and Danielle Layton

Executive Committee

Chair- Doug Fuss, Nick Morrill, Catherine Lamson, Beth Humstone, Kristen Levesque,
Meets the week prior to each Board meeting on Tuesday from Noon to 1 PM at PDD

Portland Community Acupuncture makes every attempt to make alternative health care available to as many people as possible. We provide high quality acupuncture treatments at affordable rates in a supportive community setting.

The purpose of our sliding scale is to separate the issues of money and treatment; we want you to come in often enough to really get better and stay better!
The table below contains suggested guidelines for what you might pay depending on your income. However, we understand that everyone’s situation is different, and our primary goal is to make acupuncture available to you as often as you need it. No questions asked!
