Portland High School will hold its Second Annual Winter Craft and Vendor Fair on December 7th from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Please enter the building on Chestnut Street. The fair will feature crafts, home products, food, raffles and kids’ activities, including games and face-painting. Proceeds will go to a variety of student activities at Portland High School and at Baxter School for the Deaf.

Christmas at Victoria Mansion: Joy the World
For nearly three decades, Christmas at Victoria Mansion has been a highlight of Portland’s holiday season. This year, our team of talented local designers have decorated the Mansion to the theme of Joy to the World, each reflecting Christmas décor and historic customs from different countries around the world. Step back into the glory of the Victorian era and view the Mansion’s lavishly decorated interiors while getting into the holiday spirit! Victoria Mansion is open for tours Daily, 11 am to 4:30pm from November 29th to January 5th, excluding Christmas and New Year’s Day. New this Christmas season are “Mansion Mondays,” where open hours have been extended every Monday evening until 7:30 p.m. No admission is required to visit the Carriage House Museum Shop for unique Victorian-inspired holiday gifts. The Polar Express returns to the Maine Narrow Gauge Railroad! Holiday decorations inside the train add to the festive atmosphere as guest on board meet the Conductor, enjoy hot chocolate and cookies served by our hot chocolate chefs, and listen to a reading of the story as they journey to the “North Pole.” Santa will greet children aboard the train while passengers sing along to carols as they travel back to the train station! The Polar Express is the largest annual fundraiser for the museum - don't miss out on this enchanting journey to the North Pole!
