Portland Downtown is joining forces with FEMA and the Emergency Management Office of the City of Portland and Cumberland County to encourage as many individuals as possible to sign up for CodeRED. CodeRED is the emergency alert system used by County and City officials in the event of emergencies. Examples of why CodeRED may be used include:
Sunday, June 12th marked the unofficial start of summer in beautiful Downtown Portland, as the 43rd annual Old Port Festival delighted a crowd of more than 50,000!
