A Midsummer Night’s Dream: Carnival Concert + Community Celebration Multiple venues - Anderson Street | Anderson Street 3:00 pm - 8:00 pm

Presented by Portland Bach Experience and Maine magazine, A Midsummer Night’s Dream is a carnival-style concert and community celebration featuring over 20 local arts organizations and eateries. The afternoon opens with an orchestra fanfare, followed by a parade with giant puppets, a Fairy Queen drag show, and a community dance party. Wood nymphs and fairies of all ages are invited to imbibe, dance, and celebrate the power of community through great music. Free to attend – masks required, costumes encouraged! Rain date June 13.

3pm – Doors open
4pm – Showcase Grove featuring Children’s Arts Organizations
5:30pm – Parade of the Wood Nymphs and Fairies featuring Shoestring Theater
6pm – Fairy Queen drag show with live symphony orchestra
7pm – Community dance party
