Come learn movements, rhythms, and cultural context in a warm and supportive environment.
There are no prerequisities. You don’t need to lose or gain weight. You don’t need to be flexible or have rhythm. You don’t even need to show your belly! Comfortable exercise or yoga wear is perfect, with bare feet or socks. Jingly hip scarves will be available to borrow!
The Level 1 Intro to Belly Dance class meets on Mondays or Wednesdays at 5:30 PM, Sept 9-December 4. You pick one day as your home base, but you can attend either day as your schedule requires.
Total beginners of all genders, backgrounds, and body types are welcomed and affirmed. This class is open to people ages 14 and up.
