Book talk and signing with Maine author, business consultant and visual artist Diane L. Dunton. Join this lively discussion about finding inspiration, fueling creativity, and Dunton’s new book of inspirational essays, “Living, Learning, Healing.” This book of motivational essays for reflection and inspiration is accompanied by the author’s own regional nature photography and a section for personal journaling.
ABOUT THE AUTHOR:
For over 25 years Diane has worked in the corporate world as an executive level consultant to some of New England’s largest and best-known companies. But it was her recovery from cancer and loss over a decade ago – she also lost her husband, mother, and sister to the disease – that inspired her to explore the close relationship between curiosity, inspiration, creativity, and health. Diane used writing and the visual arts as healing tools during her own cancer recovery. Today she shares what she knows with others facing professional, health, or personal challenges so that they, too, may find inspiration and harness the power of the creative process to live richer, fuller lives. ABOUT THE BOOK:
“Grappling with the hard truths of lives that don’t unfold according to our best-laid plans, this beautiful book offers the quiet guidance we need to find our own way forward. Be reminded that wonder, grace, and beauty are always at hand if our eyes and hearts are open.”
—Katrina Kenison, author of “Moments of Seeing,” “Magical Journey,” and “The Gift of an Ordinary Day”
