The Maine Museum of Photographic Arts is celebrating their new gallery space at 15 Middle Street, Portland with the exhibition of recent works by Carol Eisenberg and Cole Caswell. On view from May 5 until June 25 and an opening reception will be held May 5th, 5:00 – 8:00 pm.
The exhibition is comprised of selections from Carol Eisenberg’s portfolios, Undercurrents and Flowers at the Verge. Carol’s gorgeous photo based digital constructions are paired with Cole Caswell’s masterful creations using historic processes such as cyanotype and wet plate collodion. Through their unique vision and process, each artist explores the environment to reflect upon our contemporary society and complex relationship with the land and each other.
Gallery hours are 11:00am – 5:00pm, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday & Saturday, and Wednesdays by appointment.
